Tettnang, 17.10.2024 - "Repair instead of throw away" - this is the motto of the International Day of Repair, which takes place on October 19. In keeping with this, VAUDE is launching a new initiative for a long product life: With immediate effect, the outdoor brand is cooperating with the renowned specialist retailer Globetrotter when it comes to repairs. As part of this service partnership, VAUDE products can be repaired directly on site in nine Globetrotter stores - with more stores to follow. VAUDE is also in the process of expanding the partnership concept internationally: European specialist retailers Transa and Bever will soon be integrated.Â

Tettnang, 01.10.2024 - On October 1, Antje von Dewitz, Managing Director of VAUDE, was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace in Berlin. This honor recognizes her commitment as a "family entrepreneur, environmentalist, defender of human rights and role model for sustainable and social entrepreneurship in the textile industry" at the highest level of government. As part of the Day of German Unity, a total of 28 citizens received this award for their outstanding commitment to the values of democracy.

Tettnang, 24.09.2024 - Climate protection is human protection - this becomes particularly clear in view of the dramatic flood situation in Central and Eastern Europe. According to scientific findings, these floods are due to climate change. Therefore, further warming must be stopped urgently - by switching to renewable energies and reducing CO2 emissions. "A 'business as usual' approach would be fatal. That's why it has long been clear to us that we need to take action," explains Antje von Dewitz, VAUDE Managing Director.
