Repairing the QMR 2.0 mounting system
QMR stands for Quick Mount Release and is a fastening system specially designed for VAUDE panniers. Two hooks secure the panniers to the rack. These can be replaced quickly and easily.

Better repairability for VAUDE backpacks
What is the orange stitching on VAUDE backpacks for?
Starting with the Summer 24 collection, some VAUDE backpacks feature a repair seam. Thanks to this orange seam on the inside of the backpacks, VAUDE employees from the repair workshop can replace shoulder straps, handles or zippers more quickly. Once the damage has been repaired, they simply sew the repair seam back up.
this is not the only detail that makes it easier to repair some backpacks from the summer 24 season onwards: the back panel is not sewn in tightly, making it easier to replace. In addition, the zipper of the main compartment can be easily detached and quickly replaced.
Replacing chest straps and buckles on backpacks
More and more VAUDE backpacks have chest and hip straps that can be quickly and easily unbuckled. But you can also easily replace the chest straps on backpacks with "rails" at the front of the shoulder straps.
And if only the buckle for closing is damaged, only that can be replaced.
