Comfortable, durable and versatile – this new version of the Strathcona Pants II hiking pants has been ergonomically refined and modernized in terms of fit. You can adjust the width of the leg cuffs with a drawstring. The robust, double woven material was created from a recycled material and, thanks to its high elastane content, follows your every move. You'll really love this stretch when you've got to do some scrambling on your next hike or trekking expedition. The hiking pants are extremely windproof yet also highly breathable, which really helps with temperature regulation. The softshell-like pants feature concealed zip pockets, one leg pocket and one back pocket. These pants are produced with Eco Finish, an environmentally-friendly water repellent that doesn't use fluorocarbons (PFC), they can easily withstand a light rain or snow shower and are quick drying. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable, bluesign® certified materials.

Recycled Polyamide – functional polyamide from resource-efficient production.

Recycled polyamide obtained from used items such as fishing nets or carpets. Rather than disposing of surplus materials or residuals from textile production, we collect, process and reuse them in our production facilities. Valuable resources are put to maximal use so we need as little new raw materials as possible, protecting our climate and saving CO2.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
