This makes the Mark 3-person trekking tent remarkably versatile, freestanding, weather-resistant, and effortlessly self-tensioning. Thanks to its elastic suspension on the external tent poles, it adeptly absorbs gusts of wind and other impacts. Designed for those who prefer sleeping lengthwise, it maintains stability with its plastic components for pole attachment. Further enhancing comfort are a built-in clothesline and two interior pockets.

    Man ist nie ganz zufrieden, und findet doch nichts Besseres

     
    Nach langen Tagestouren ist man manchmal so kaputt, dass man nur noch ins Bett fallen will. Aber das will erst noch aufgebaut werden. Da ist der unvergleichlich schnelle Aufbau des Mark 3, der außerdem so einfach ist, dass er sich sogar im Stockdunkeln bewerkstelligen lässt, ein nicht zu schlagendes Argument. Manchmal wünscht man sich mehr Komfort, eine bessere Sitzhöhe wie z. B. im Chapel, aber wie schnell ist es gerade am Meer doch mal so windig, dass man für die stabile Konstruktion mit zusätzlichen Abspannseilen dankbar ist. Die beiliegenden Zeltheringe sind natürlich eine Katastrophe [...]. Bei Kauf unseres dritten Mark 3 sind die sofort im Müll gelandet, denn für unsere Zwecke haben wir schon längst in 2 Sätze brauchbarer Heringe investiert, einmal solche, die auch im eher sandigen Boden Halt geben, und dann solche, die sich mit bloßer Hand auch in festen Boden drücken lassen, so lange der nicht zu steinig oder durchgetrocknet ist. Letztere sollten einem Zelt dieser etwas gehobenen Preisklasse, das zwar recht leicht ist, aber ohnehin nicht den Anspruch erhebt ultraleicht sein zu wollen, unbedingt beiliegen.

    Die Zeltheringe sind erheblich zu Kurz! Bei Mittelfesten Untergrund und etwas Wind sind die seitlichen Zeltheringe herausgezogen worden. Dadurch flatterte das Zelt erheblich. Der Spannriemen vorne und hinten vor dem Innenzelt sind schon bei diesen oder ähnlichen Modellen eine Stolperfalle.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
