The cotton/polyester blend makes it exceptionally soft to wear while being functional, easy-care and quick-drying. At the same time, the Neyland Shirt II doesn't skimp on style. It's got a covered button placket and the chest pocket zips closed to keep the contents from getting lost. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from bluesign® certified, sustainable materials. In addition, this product is climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization myclimate.

SPF 40 – very good protection against harmful UV rays

According to DIN EN 13758-1, SPF 40 means that less than 2.5 percent (1/40) of harmful UV rays can penetrate the fabric of your VAUDE gear or clothing. Since VAUDE products do not contain any chemical titanium dioxide, UV protection is achieved solely through the choice of fibers, weave and thickness of the material.

Material

Organic Cotton – sustainable and certified

Partially made from certified organic cotton grown under strict ecological conditions. Cultivation requires less water consumption than conventional cotton and needs no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or genetic engineering. By buying organic cotton, VAUDE is contributing to the sustainable development of small farmers and to the preservation of biodiversity in areas of cultivation.
