Ultra comfortable combination of jogging pants and outer shell for cool kids! Kids Hylax Pants have a stretch waistband with drawcords for easy access, stylish stretch leg cuffs, roomy side pockets and a large cargo pocket for money, a phone or other small items. Thanks to their environmentally friendly and functional material blend of 62% organic cotton and 32% recycled polyester, the pants are easy-care, quick-drying and offer the sensitive skin of children a UV protection factor UPF 50+ for protection against sunburn. The spandex content of 6% makes the pants very stretchy and comfortable. Perfect for camping and outdoor adventures – but also for usual city life and wearing at school. These kids outdoor pants are climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization myclimate. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials.

SPF 50 – optimal protection against harmful UV rays

According to DIN EN 13758-1, SPF 50 means that less than 2 percent (1/50) of harmful UV rays penetrate the fabric of your VAUDE gear or clothing. Since VAUDE products do not contain any chemical titanium dioxide, UV protection is achieved solely through the choice of fibers, weave and thickness of the material.

Recycled PET: high quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles

Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

Partially made from certified organic cotton grown under strict ecological conditions. Cultivation requires less water consumption than conventional cotton and needs no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or genetic engineering. By buying organic cotton, VAUDE is contributing to the sustainable development of small farmers and to the preservation of biodiversity in areas of cultivation.
