Our men's top seller is now even more eco-friendly and cutting edge – the waterproof and windproof Manukau men's jacket was made from primarily recycled materials with an enhanced design. Two hand-warmer pockets replace the previous patch pockets and an additional chest pocket will hold all the small items you want to have right at hand when you're on the move. Smartphone, wallet or other important items fit into the inner zip pocket. Thanks to its integrated membrane, the Manukau Jacket can withstand any weather. It's reliably waterproof, windproof, breathable and, thanks to the high-quality, eco-friendly Primaloft® Black Eco insulation, it's warm and cozy as well. The wide, softly fitting ribbed cuffs and lower hem protect against the cold and make this sporty jacket the perfect companion for winter weather in the city. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials.

Ceplex Active – high-quality membrane that protects from rain and wind

The high-quality Ceplex Active membrane developed by VAUDE is waterproof, windproof and highly breathable. It keeps moisture out and warmth in. Your VAUDE product can withstand a water column of at least 10,000 millimeters (JIS L 1092 B). The membrane is made of polyurethane (PU), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or polyester (PES) and is 100 percent free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Ceplex Active is also used as a coating.

In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
