An adjustable waistband, abrasion-resistant zones and reflective elements round off these versatile shorts, and the use of recycled material means the bluesign®-certified fabric is also very environmentally friendly. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials. In addition, this product is climate neutral – we’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit myclimate organization.

VAUDE products with stretch are very comfortable to wear. The material's elasticity is achieved either by its elastane content and/or its knit or woven construction. It provides maximum freedom of movement during your activities in nature.

Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
