New VAUDE store in Traunstein

Tettnang, 18.03.2025 - On March 20, the outdoor brand VAUDE will open a new store in the heart of Traunstein. The popular Upper Bavarian town offers a relaxed shopping experience surrounded by magnificent scenery. Located between the Chiemgau Alps and Lake Chiemsee, Traunstein is the perfect starting point for all outdoor activities, whether hiking, mountain biking or ski touring. On a sales area of around 150 square meters, VAUDE presents its comprehensive range of sustainable, innovative and fairly produced outdoor equipment for all activities in nature and in everyday urban life. Store operator Thomas Eberl has many years of experience in sports and fashion retail.

Thomas Eberl, who has been working in sports retail in Traunstein for many years, is looking forward to the collaboration: "The VAUDE franchise concept convinces me across the board - it is based on partnership, economically attractive and offers me many advantages as a store operator. Successful model with a future: focus on sustainability and partnership

More and more specialist retailers are joining the successful VAUDE franchise concept, which places great value on working in partnership. The VAUDE stores are managed independently by the franchise partners, while VAUDE Franchise GmbH provides the merchandise on consignment and thus assumes the entire merchandise risk. In addition, the partners benefit from a sophisticated store design, marketing and shop window concept. VAUDE is also very keen to make its comprehensive sustainability strategy tangible in the franchise stores. This is why recycled and bio-based materials are used in the shopfitting, such as untreated FSC-certified ash wood from Europe or pollutant-free linoleum made from renewable raw materials. The lighting is 100% green electricity and energy-efficient LED technology.

Sustainability is also reflected in the services offered by the stores. Minor repairs to VAUDE products can be carried out directly on site by trained specialist staff - the right tools and spare parts are available. Alternatively, damaged products can be repaired by VAUDE's own repair service or unused items can be donated to the FairWertung organization. VAUDE's aim is not only to offer a comprehensive service, but also to promote the long-term use of products and responsible consumption.
