Mass balance used tire recycling - what is it? Our textiles using a mass balance process are climate-friendly, highly functional and help solve a major waste problem caused by used tires. VAUDE uses a technology here that extracts oil from plastics that are difficult to recycle and in turn feeds it into the polyamide production system in a certified mass balance process.
