The Tekoa softshell jacket for men stands for robust functionality and high wearing comfort – ideal for demanding mountain tours, via ferratas or alpine adventures. The ergonomic cut ensures maximum freedom of movement so that the jacket can also be worn comfortably with a climbing harness or backpack. The stretchy, highly breathable material supports a pleasant body climate and dries quickly – perfect for intensive activities. Wind and water-repellent properties offer protection in changeable weather, whether in the early morning or during a rest at high altitude. Functional details such as two spacious slit pockets and a breast pocket offer space for important small items. The close-fitting hood keeps the wind out and can also be worn under a helmet. Mesh-lined underarm ventilation promotes air circulation during strenuous ascents. Thanks to its lightweight construction, the jacket can be stowed away to save space and is always quickly at hand. The outer fabric of the Tekoa softshell jacket is equipped with the environmentally friendly Eco Finish, which repels water and dirt – without the use of fluorocarbons (PFAS/PFC), which are considered potentially harmful to health. With the VAUDE Green Shape label, you can trust that it's eco-friendly and made from sustainable materials.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
