Mineo Backpacks - Trend-setting urban companions

Young, versatile and climate friendly: the new Mineo Backpack series is a particularly smart way to combine style, functionality and sustainability. The forecast calls for horrible weather – who cares? The colorful, smooth, environmentally friendly material used for the trend-setting Mineo Backpacks can withstand rain, snow and dirt. The wipe-clean, bluesign® certified material is recycled so it's not only very robust, but also extremely sustainable. With a total of six different models in four trend-setting colors, the Mineo range will be launched for everyday urban use in winter 2022.

With a laptop, some shopping and a water bottle, a backpack can get pretty heavy. The weight of what you need every day is easy to deal with thanks to the padded back and soft shoulder straps, regardless of whether you're biking, walking or taking public transport. External loops and reflective compression straps can be used to hold a jacket, bike lock or yoga mat on the pack. They also serve as a practical trolley sleeve when traveling.

All Mineo backpacks are convenient for daily use. They feature a laptop compartment, an inner compartment for a water bottle and pens, a generous main compartment and an easy-to-reach front compartment. A fixed-position elasticated holder on the left-hand shoulder strap is a great feature for the daily 9–5: it makes keys and smartcards easily accessible on a stretch cord for door or bike locks while still wearing the backpack.

The Mineo Backpack 23 is one step ahead with its rolltop. It can deal with both large and small loads – not only can it be packed from the top but it also offers side access in case what is needed is right at the bottom. A padded 15.6” laptop compartment protects important data carriers and a separate zip pocket on the back has space for a smartphone and wallet.

Those who prefer a solid top for their backpack can opt for the Mineo Backpack 30. This miraculously roomy backpack has as an optional separate zip compartment inside the main compartment, allowing it to be kept separate from the rest of your gear. This is extremely practical for dirty laundry, shoes or small purchases.

Another clever feature is the additional volume expansion with the small Mineo Tech Pouch pocket. This is easy to attach to the loops on the Mineo backpack using velcro and provides space for yet more items. The Mineo Tech Pouch can also be worn on its own as a small shoulder bag.

The Mineo range also includes a smaller 15 liter daypack and two shoulder bags – or messenger bags to use the fashionable term – with 9 and 22 liter capacity respectively, providing everything a commuter needs for day-to-day traveling in town.

The whole Mineo Backpack range is climate neutral, as are all VAUDE products from 2022 onwards. During manufacture we’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable are fully offset through the independent non-profit organization myclimate.
