The Swiss army knife among softshell jackets: The Qimsa bike softshell jacket with hood for men is designed for use on the bike, but also offers reliable weather protection in everyday life and for other outdoor activities. The pleasantly soft and slightly stretchy material is completely windproof thanks to an integrated membrane. Pre-shaped sleeves ensure a good fit and maximum freedom of movement on the bike. The longer cut back protects against splashing water and keeps the kidneys warm even in a sporty sitting position. The high breathability of the softshell material and the two side pockets, which also serve as ventilation, guarantee good climate management - even on strenuous climbs. And if the wind is blowing particularly hard, the hood comes into play. The waistband can also be tightly fastened with a drawstring on the inside. These versatile features make the Qimsa bike softshell jacket with hood the ideal companion on cool trails, when commuting to work or in everyday life on the move. The outer fabric is treated to repel water and dirt. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, known as PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
