Whether ski touring, alpine traversing or deep powder - the Monviso II 3-layer ski touring pants for men provide reliable weather protection when the going gets tough. The 3-layer laminate consistently keeps out moisture and wind, while its high breathability supports a pleasant micro-climate even on strenuous ascents. Side ventilation zippers that open from bottom to top provide a targeted supply of fresh air without revealing too much unnecessarily. The adjustable waistband allows for a precise fit, while integrated gaiters at the leg ends prevent snow from penetrating the trousers. Two thigh pockets with zippers create practical storage space and are compatible with climbing harnesses. The right-hand pocket also has an integrated mesh pocket with a fastening loop to securely store an avalanche transceiver. Robust reinforcements at the leg ends provide reliable protection against ski edges and crampons. The leg cuffs can also be extended with a zipper so that different ski boots can easily be accommodated. The Monviso II 3-layer ski touring pants combine uncompromising weather protection, functional details and a technical fit - the ideal choice for mountaineers who demand the very best from their equipment. The outer fabric is treated to repel water and dirt. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, known as PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
