Ambitious ski tours, alpine crossings or deep snow descents - the Monviso II 3-layer ski touring pants for women protect alpinists from even the most adverse weather conditions. They are absolutely waterproof, windproof and breathable. This keeps the body dry and protected even during intensive ascents. The side ventilation zippers can be opened from bottom to top, allowing fresh air to reach the body in a targeted manner. The adjustable waistband ensures an individual fit and a high level of comfort, while the integrated snow guard at the leg ends keeps snow out. Two spacious leg pockets with zippers offer storage space for small items. There is also an inner mesh pocket with a loop in the right-hand pocket for attaching an avalanche transceiver. The leg cuffs are reinforced so that the pants can withstand contact with ski edges or crampons. Thanks to the zipper, the leg cuffs fit easily over different ski boots. All these features make the Monviso II 3-layer ski touring pants for women an absolutely reliable companion for demanding alpinists. The outer fabric is treated to repel water and dirt. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, known as PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
