As a rule, you have to make a choice with backpacks: either stability or ventilation, body contact or mesh back. The Wizard 22+4 liter hiking backpack for women solves this conflict with its Aeroflex Control System. The distance between the pack sack and the back can be infinitely adjusted on the go. This means that the back is well ventilated on the ascent and the load sits close to the back in a well-controlled manner on the descent or in tricky passages. This adaptability extends the range of use of the Wizard 22+4 liter hiking backpack for women from everyday life to bike tours and via ferrata. In addition, the back length can be perfectly adjusted to your own body size. The storage space is also variable: The integrated zipper volume expansion and the organizer in the front pocket ensure flexibility and order. Two side mesh pockets, compression straps, a pole holder and a hydration system opening round off the features of the hiking backpack. The robust outer material is water and dirt repellent with Eco Finish. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health. The fully padded hip belt guarantees a good load transfer, and the integrated zippered pocket also fits large smartphones. Rain cover included. With the VAUDE Green Shape label, you can trust that it's eco-friendly and made from sustainable materials.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
