For men who don't compromise in the mountains: The Elope 3-layer jacket for men is the ideal all-season weather protection jacket for demanding trekking and hiking tours. It combines extreme durability with a lightweight pack size and offers absolutely reliable protection against wind and rain. Thanks to the highly breathable membrane, perspiration is quickly wicked away to the outside so that you don't overheat on strenuous tours. Additional features such as underarm zippers and a two-way front zipper give you full control over ventilation, even on sweaty climbs. The hood protects your head and ears even in strong winds and can be perfectly adjusted with cords - for an optimum fit and maximum protection. Velcro cuffs keep wind and rain out. Two zippered front pockets keep your smartphone, wallet and other items safe and dry. In addition to the waterproof membrane, the outer fabric of the Elope 3-layer jacket for men is treated with Eco Finish to repel water and dirt. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health. With the VAUDE Green Shape label, you can trust that it's eco-friendly and made from sustainable materials.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
