The Lizard ultralight tent for 1 person combines minimal weight with a compact pack size and excellent weather protection. Its well-designed two-pole tunnel construction with a long side entrance with a panoramic view, creating a spacious interior feel – ideal for comfortably waiting out bad weather. The foot end on the outer tent also offers a clever ventilation option: the outer fabric can be adjusted smoothly upward or closed completely allowing fresh air to flow into the tent for a good microclimate, or keeping wind and rain out when needed. The inner tent with its sophisticated mesh section also contributes to optimum air circulation without being drafty. The small vestibule creates additional storage space for a backpack or panniers, while the center area of the inner tent also offers extra space to keep gear like a backpack dry and protected. One-sided closed pole sleeves and the simultaneous and rainproof construction of the inner and outer tent make pitching much easier. Another big advantage: in bad weather, the inner tent can be removed separately, remains dry and can be stowed away neatly. Thanks to the robust DAC aluminum poles and durable guy lines from Edelrid, the tent offers safe and comfortable accommodation.     Super pour un bikepaking en solo

     
    Tente légère et compact lorsque repliée. j'ai pu l'installer dans ma sacoche de guidon qui est pourtant assez étroite. J'ai juste du sortir les arceaux et les attacher en dehors de la sacoche. Très pratique à monter/démonter, le système de double couches déjà attachées accélère très clairement l'installation, c'est une excellente idée. Malgré son faible poids, l'espace intérieur est plutôt généreux, il y a également de nombreuses poches (6) très pratiques, ce qui est plutôt rare dans une tente UL. Au niveau espace pour les sacoches sous l'abside c'était suffisant, mais j'avais peu de matériel, pas certain qu'un gros sac à dos, ou de grosses sacoches entrent facilement. Très bonne ventilation avec les ouvertures latérales et surtout l'ouverture aux pieds qui crée un effet tunnel. J'ai pu tester son étanchéité lors d'un gros orage, aucun problème, aucune infiltration. Durant l'orage, elle bougeait avec le vent mais en mettant tous les piquets c'était parfait, elle n'a plus bougé, à voir dans un endroit vraiment exposé au vent, mais en tout cas elle est plutôt rassurante de ce point de vue. Les arceaux sont relativement fin, d'ailleurs le grand était plié après trois semaines d'utilisation continue, sans que je ne sache comment c'est arrivé...

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
