Whether you're trekking or on an adventure bike tour – the Adventure Taurus 4-person tent is designed for year-round use. Its stable ridge tunnel construction creates a spacious sleeping area in which four people can comfortably lie down and sit up. The spacious vestibule is particularly practical and can be used not only as storage space for your gear, but also as a cooking area. The vestibule three doors can be opened wide in good weather for maximum ventilation; in bad weather, the front door can remain fully open. An additional door at the rear can be used as an alternative entrance or to improve air circulation in dry weather. One of the side doors on the outer tent and the front door of the inner tent each have a double mesh door, which also ensures air exchange and keeps insects out at the same time. A clever feature is the simultaneous pitching of the inner and outer tent, which keeps the inner tent dry even in the rain. One-sided closed pole sleeves also make setup easier and faster. The tent remains stable even in stormy weather thanks to the high-quality DAC aluminum poles and the durable Edelrid guy lines. Multiple inner pockets provide storage space for smaller items, making it easy to keep the inside of the tent tidy. The inner tent can be removed —, for example, to pack it away dry in wet conditions or to use the outer tent on its own. With the VAUDE Green Shape label, you can trust that it's eco-friendly and made from sustainable materials.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
