The Adventure Mark 3-person tent offers reliable protection. With its robust DAC poles, high-quality Edelrid storm lines and stable, free-standing construction, this tent is ideal for demanding tours. The spacious, rectangular interior offers space for three people sleeping crosswise and plenty of headroom. Not only can you sit comfortably here, but you can also stow your gear safely - ideal if you have to sit out bad weather. The floor of the tent is raised at the sides to keep out moisture and rain. The double doors on the inner tent are a clever detail: In addition to a mesh door, there is a cover made of windproof material that can be closed from the inside. This practical feature helps to keep the inside of the tent warm in cold weather, while the ventilation openings accessible from the inside ensure pleasant air circulation on hot days. Another advantage of the tent: the distinctive Mark wrap construction with elastic cord, thanks to which it can be set up quickly and easily and absorbs gusts of wind. The tent also scores points for the fact that the inner and outer tents are connected and can therefore be set up simultaneously and rainproof in just a few minutes. In rainy weather, the inner tent can be detached separately from the flysheet so that it stays dry and can be stowed away easily.     Zelt Mark 3 und der Nachfolger Adventure Mark 3P

     
    Liebe Leute, es wird ja viel genörgelt gerade in der Republik ... Allerdings muss ich das nicht. Seit über zwanzig Jahren habe ich das Mark 3 "bewohnt". Damals schon fand ich das genial. Es lässt sich superschnell aufbauen, auch bei Regen bekommt das Innenzelt nix ab, wegen der tollen Aufhängung an dem Aussengestänge. Das hat lange gehalten und war das tollste Zelt, das ich jemals hatte. Das Gestänge hatte ein Innengummiband zum schnellen Aufbau. Das war vor 15 Jahren mal gerissen. Es war kein Problem, das von Vaude (kostenfrei!) reparieren zu lassen. Nun war die Gummiaussenbespannung aussen kaputt. Auch die habe ich kostenfrei von Vaude zugesandt bekommen und die in kurzer Zeit ausgetauscht, so dass das Zelt weiter nutzbar ist. Natürlich hat das Zelt jetzt Alterserscheinungen: Ein Reisverschluss macht Ärger, der Boden ist nicht mehr ganz dicht, die Reisverschlussdichtungen lösen sich auf ... Trotzdem kann man es noch benutzen, mal sehen, ob die Imprägnierung mit einem Nikwax-Produkt noch was bringt. Mein Sohn will das Zelt für WE-Unternehmungen haben. Ich musste mir nach dem Motto "Wann, wenn nicht jetzt" noch mal den Nachfolger kaufen. Vaude hat das Mark 3 mit dem Nachfolger Adventure Mark 3P noch mal weiterentwickelt. Ich bin begeistert. Die tolle Aufhängung ist geblieben und perfektioniert worden. Zudem ist das Zelt in der Schlaflänge optimiert durch eine zusätzliche Querstange. So liegt man nicht mehr mit der Nase beim Schlafen an der Zeltwand, ausserdem ist das Zelt in Schlafrichtung länger. Optimal für mich mit meiner Klappmatratze - die musste ich im alten Zelt immer querlegen. In meinem Alter geht nix mehr mit Thermarest ... Das Zelt kostet was, aber es ist es wert. Fand auch mein Freund, der mal bei einem Outdoor-Ausstatter gearbeitet hat, als wir es heute aufgebaut haben. Aufbauzeit unter 10 Minuten. Empfehlung: Immer einen zusätzlichen Unterboden kaufen. Der schützt den Unterboden des Schlafzeltes. Das hat auch wohl mein altes Zelt lange geschützt. Heisst heute "Footprint" - anders gehts wohl nicht ... Eines ist aber bei fast allen Zelten ein Ärgernis: Wenn man bei Regen das Zelt öffnet, regnet es in die Apsis. Da habe ich noch kein Zelt gesehen, das das durch eine geniale Konstuktion vermeidet. Ich baue ein kleines zusätzliches Tarp vor dem Eingang auf. MlG Walter

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
