The Silkroad L rear pannier boasts an impressive 9 + 2 liters of volume, providing ample space to stow your essentials. There's plenty of room for gear in the spacious main compartment. An internal zip compartment, 2 side compartments and a zip pocket in the lid keep your phone and wallet tidy. Need extra room? Simply utilize the expandable design, offering an additional 2 liters of capacity, along with the elastic cord on the lid. The integrated bottle holder fits bottles up to 1 liter, and the detachable shoulder strap makes it a breeze to carry when you're on foot. A safety light attachment point and rain cover round off the bag's comfortable features. Outfitted with the universal KLICKfix UniKlip 2.0 quick-release attachment system, it effortlessly mounts onto racks with widths ranging from 9 to 16 cm. Simply set it up once, attach the pannier, fold down the clip – and you're ready for your next adventure! The Silkroad L with UniKlip 2.0 can also be used on e-bikes with integrated batteries and on gear racks with spring closure. It is also compatible with V-shaped carriers. The maximum load capacity is five kilograms.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
