If you're someone a little shorter than average (up to 170 cm) looking for a warm, solid sleeping bag that's resistant to moisture for hiking, trekking or travel, you'll love the Sioux 800 S sleeping bag. The microfiber fill wicks moisture outward and insulates even when wet. The mummy shape and adjustable thermal collar retain your body heat reliably. If it gets too warm, simply open the two-way zip. The sleeping bag is also ideal for nights under the open sky: The outer shell of the Sioux 800 S synthetic fiber sleeping bag is treated with PFC-free Eco Finish for water repellency and dirt resistance. All in all, we've placed great emphasis on sustainability with this sleeping bag and it belongs to the VAUDE closed-loop concept. Both the main fabric and fill are made from 100% recycled polyester. It also features a material-efficient cut and is robust as well as easy to repair. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.

    Hab den ben bei -3 mit T-Shirt, Socken und langer Hose benutzt. Mir war nicht kalt. Bin etwa 1,80 groß. Hat super gepasst. Wenn man größer ist würde ich die normale Größe verwenden. Wäre cool die Namen der Schlafsäcke irgendwie eindeutiger zu machen bzw. zu erklären. Am Kopfbereich kann man was einstellen, hab das aber nicht gecheckt. Also in allem ein guter Schlafsack wenn man es warm haben möchte um die 0 C

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
