The idea is as ingenious as it is simple – the Drive Van Trunk transforms your hatchback and the space under and behind it into a large tent at lightning speed! In combination with the trunk itself, it creates plenty of space for sleeping, cooking and sitting together. The Drive Van Trunk has a broad range of use – it adapts to different car types thanks to its sophisticated tensioning strap construction and can be opened at both sides. The vestibule can be mounted on VW bus sized vehicles and panel vans such as the VW Caddy and transforms them into mobile camping units. The open hatchback forms the supporting element of the tent construction and the resulting standing height allows you to stand up inside for the privacy you need to change clothes or even shower. The tent offers plenty of storage space or room to cook and eat with two chairs and a small table. Attached to your car, it provides optimal ventilation in the safe vehicle space while offering the privacy that some occasions call for.

    Gut durchdachtes Heckzelt

     
    Ich habe nach mehreren Fehlversuchen zum Drive Van Trunk gefunden und bin einfach nur begeistert! Das Zelt passt hervorragend an meinem Renault Trafic 2 (2004) und bietet zusätzlichen Platz. Die Verarbeitung ist typisch Vaude sehr gut und es finden sich einige sehr nützliche Details am Zelt. Als Beispiel sei nur mal das Silikonband unter dem Gummiband welches auf dem Dach und den Seiten anliegt genannt. Da rutscht genau garnichts und selbst Wind verschiebt das Zelt nicht- Klasse! Wir werden das zelt im Sommer in Norwegen nutzen und freuen uns sehr darauf. Danke Vaude!

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
