VAUDE to distribute premium lamps from Lupine in future
Neumarkt i. d. Oberpfalz/Tettnang, 23.10.2025 - The premium lamp brand Lupine Lighting Systems and VAUDE, one of Europe's leading outdoor brands, are entering into an exclusive distribution partnership. From January 1, 2026, VAUDE will take over the distribution of Lupine's high-quality headlamps, torches and bike lights in outdoor and bike retailers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
At a time when many productions are being relocated abroad, VAUDE and Lupine are setting a joint example of regionally rooted value creation and longevity. While Lupine has been developing and producing entirely in Germany for over 30 years, VAUDE is consciously strengthening a piece of its own manufacturing expertise with its manufactory at the company headquarters in Tettnang - as an expression of quality craftsmanship, short distances and sustainable responsibility.
Two brands, one attitude
VAUDE brings a strong sales network with over 20 sales representatives, eight showrooms in the DACH region and in-depth market knowledge in the outdoor and bike segments to the cooperation. Lupine impresses with technologically leading lighting solutions, in-house development and production in Neumarkt i.d. Oberpfalz and an exceptional 24-hour service.
Benedikt Böhm, CEO at Lupine since 2025, sees the partnership as a milestone: "One of my first steps at Lupine was to find a strong sales partner. Looking ahead
From January 1, 2026, VAUDE will offer its specialist retail partners Lupine products exclusively through its own sales teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This means that the lamps can already be ordered for the fall/winter pre-order. Orders are placed via the VAUDE sales force, while invoicing and delivery are handled by Lupine. VAUDE will also be expanding Lupine products to other countries from 2027.
Lupine: High-end lighting systems - Made in Germany
For over 30 years, Lupine has stood for high-end lighting systems that are developed and manufactured entirely at the company headquarters in Neumarkt i.d. Oberpfalz. CEO Benedikt Böhm has known the brand since his time as an extreme ski mountaineer: in 2010 on Broad Peak (8,046 m), he experienced his personal "moment of enlightenment" with a Lupine lamp. This experience later led him - after 22 years as CEO of Dynafit - to Lupine to lead the brand to new radiance.
For Lupine, the partnership with VAUDE marks a key step towards a successful future. With a new brand identity, modern digital infrastructure and a completely revamped website, the company is entering a new era in October - together with VAUDE as a strong partner that brings values, quality and sustainability to retailers.
