Our collections also come with integrated sun protection (UPF 50 as per Australian/New Zealand standards), and in addition, the integrated gaiters or tight-fitted trouser legs offer tick protection to keep the kids safe. Our winter gear is both waterproof and windproof, and padded to keep your little ones warm when the temperature drops. Reflective elements make for improved visibility to keep them safe in the dark too.

Child-friendly details

At VAUDE, we know that there’s nothing worse than children’s clothing that irritates and gets in the way. That’s why all our garments are tested by the VAUDE nursery, to make sure that we can offer your kids the most comfortable cuts and freedom of movement. Our designs also feature clever solutions such as integrated name tags, because you won’t want to lose your VAUDE products. Children's Backpacks feature easy-to-use buckles and clasps, and the length-adjustable belt and height-adjustable chest strap make sure that the rucksack grows with your child. The side pockets are perfect for children’s little finds and treasures, while reflective elements ensure visibility in the dark.

Our Shoes have been developed especially to support natural walking. Designs with Velcro or a fast-lacing system make them easy to put on and take off. Our collection features children’s sleeping bags too, which are length-adjustable and easy to care for.

The Pants , meanwhile, grow with the child thanks to a feature that means that they can be lengthened by up to 3.5cm. Our materials are bluesign certified, which guarantees that they are skin-friendly, non-toxic and resource-saving. The Fair Wear stamp means that you can rest assured that the clothes you buy have been produced under fair working conditions.

• Wear and tear is normal, but there’s very little that can’t be fixed. Most of our children’s products can be repaired using the VAUDE product service.
• Do you have a VAUDE product that’s on its last legs? You can still do good by donating your used items to a clothing collection with social benefit. At VAUDE, we’ve chosen to partner with the umbrella organization FairWertung e.V.
