Backpacks for hiking, trekking, travel and much more
Anyone who likes to be out in the fresh air simply can't get by without a backpack. Food, drink, rain jacket, tissues, smartphone and sunscreen are all basic equipment for any long trip. All your essentials should always be within arm’s reach, so you don’t have to take off your rucksack every time you need something – gear loops, side nets and front pockets make all this possible. You may also need to add some extra equipment, depending on the activity. For
, a small first aid kit, hiking maps as well as an extra layer of clothing are must-haves. What’s more, your lunch box and water bottle tend to be a bit bigger.
Backpacks for
have a lot of requirements to meet: people who travel alone for several days or weeks usually carry all their equipment with them. A tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, stove, food and clothing for two weeks take up a lot of packing space but must still be comfortable to carry. Nothing should chafe or cut, the load must sit stably on the body and the backpack should still leave enough freedom of movement for the arms, especially when hiking with poles. are specially designed with the female anatomy in mind. For women and smaller people, a rucksack with a shortened back section is a great choice for an optimal fit. Padded cushioning and optimal load distribution are essential, especially for long tours with heavy loads, while softly padded, extra-wide hip belts sit comfortably on female hips.

Eco-friendly backpacks from VAUDE

Another non-negotiable for a good rucksack is that it must be waterproof. VAUDE relies on Eco Finish, an eco-friendly finish that does not contain environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs).
