Contemporary and perfect for everyday use – the top loader Neyland Zip 20 with a removable hip belt. This multifunctional backpack is great for hiking and via ferrata as well as for university and everyday city life. The innovative suspension system with structured foam modules provides excellent ventilation paired with a stable body-contact back. The shoulder straps are padded and exceptionally comfortable. An integrated EMP panel (ergonomic movement panel) supports natural back movement on the ascent or when cycling and prevents your load from pressing into your back. It's outfitted with a large main compartment and a separate hydration system compartment, which can also be used as a laptop compartment (up to 15" inches). The roomy zip front pocket also has a padded phone compartment. Side stretch pockets will hold your water bottle or hat. Trekking poles can be attached to the pole attachment and the side compression straps can hold additional gear. You can stow other items in the open stretch pocket on the front. A rain cover is included. The Neyland Zip 20 was made from primarily recycled materials. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials.

    still some efforts to make it better

     
    good points : robust materials, low environmental impact manufacturing, rain cover with its own zipped pocket on the bottom, adjustable front pocket, adjustable upper side straps, external zipped pocket, aerated back panel that prevents too much sweating, adjustable chest belt, removable hip belt points to improve : 1) the side mesh pockets design is a failure : they can't hold 700 ml bottles that can fall from the bag if you bend forward or on one side, or if you run or you walk on uneven ground. 2) The pads on the back panel are too thin and if the bag is loaded, it feels unpleasant in the lower back. I suggest Vaude's designers have a look at what [...] put on the backpanel of their [...] backbag (and on the shoulder straps too). With that kind of gear, the neyland zip 20 would be more pleasant to carry. 3) last point (but I personnaly don't mind) : the Neyland doesn't stand on its own when you put it down.

    Top sac à dos. Matériaux de qualités. Pour moi il manque une deuxième tirette à la petite poche extérieur afin de pouvoir faire 1 système d' antivol. Le système de coque ds le dos est léger et me donne plus de confort.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
