The Trailpack II is our most versatile, waterproof backpack with an unlimited range of use! It is just as great for bikepacking as it is for gravel biking – or use it as a lightweight companion for everyday life in the city. The Trailpack's super-small pack size makes it perfect for bike trips, – just pull it out when you're ready to go sightseeing and store it away when you get back to save space. It's also got some other impressive features – the main compartment with 8 l volume is 100% waterproof – it's hf-welded and has a roll closure. It's attached at the lower back and sides so that extra gear or a hydration bladder with a volume of 2 l can be stowed in the space from the top. There's room for a helmet, a wet jacket or other gear behind the front flap with two compression straps. Valuables can be safely stored in the small zip pocket at the back. Reflective prints on the front and sides of the pack increase your visibility in low light conditions. Both the waterproof main compartment and the front flap are made from 100% recycled materials. .

    “Also great for trail running training sessions. I appreciate it for its waterproofing, stability, and the ability to externally attach a second pair of shoes and a windbreaker. A second version for winter use with a slightly larger capacity, around 12 liters, with an additional pocket on the second shoulder strap and another pocket on the side would be welcome.”

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
