This flexible bike backpack will help you safely master any alpine crossing and steep trails, no matter how difficult. The multi-impact SAS-TEC SCA 500 protector is integrated into the ergonomic body contact suspension system and can be easily adjusted to your height or torso length via the 6 cm height-adjustable hip belt. For excellent stability in rugged terrain, the lightweight shoulder straps combine with the air-permeable, full hip belt with side closure. The large front compartment has numerous pockets for organizing your tools, a spare tube and a pump. Wallet and keys can be safely stored in an inner mesh pocket in the upper front compartment. Additional mesh pockets are located at the sides and on the right hip wing. A flexible helmet holder that can also be used to transport full face helmets along with a removable rain cover are also included. Both can be stowed in the bottom compartment. Hydration bladder compartment holds 2 – 3 liters – enough to keep your thirst at bay all day long. Other features include an adjustable sternum strap with drinking tube holder, key holder, safety light holder, glasses holder, side compression straps and reflective elements. The abrasion and tear-resistant ripstop material features environmentally-friendly manufacturing in accordance with the strict bluesign® standard with PFC-free Eco Finish water repellency. The GS seal stands for "Geprüfte Sicherheit" (Tested Safety) in accordance with the CE Norm EN 1621-2 by TÜV SÜD.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
