How do I replace the slider of the zipper?
Through frequent use or improper use, it can happen that the slider of the zipper bends or expands and the teeth no longer hook properly into each other.
We show you here in a few steps how to replace a defective slider with a new one.
Required tools:
Tweezers, side cutters, new zipper slider and staples
Difficulty: Easy
Duration: 15 minutes
Find suitable slider and staple.
Remove the staples from the end of the zipper by bending them open with the side cutter and pulling them off.
Remove defective slider.
Insert new slider into the spiral.
Tighten the cramps at the end of the zipper using tweezers.
Remove the zipper extension (black) from the slider and thread it into the inserted slider.
