Our best-seller Escape rain jacket in a longer cut is primarily made from recycled polyester. A sleek design with colorful accents, the Escape rain parka for women is the perfect companion for the whole year round – it's waterproof, windproof and breathable and can be individually adjusted with a 2-way zip. The hood is adjustable and can also be stowed in the collar. Speaking of adjustable, the stretch cuffs are just that. Storage space is provided by the two front zip pockets. The Escape rain parka for women is treated with our Eco Finish, a PFC-free, water and dirt repellent finish. Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.

Leider war der Parka nicht in Ordnung, die Reissverschlüsse ließen sich nicht öffnen weil der Reißverschluss nicht ordentlich genäht war. Enttäuschend. Ich hätte den Parka gerne behalten,musste ihn aber reklamieren und dafür noch € 1,95 zahlen.

Passt, hat Luft, hält

Ich nutze die Jacke fürs Radfahren zur Arbeit und in die Stadt auf Radwegen. Im Winter mit Wärme-Weste darunter, im Sommer regulär über der Arbeitskleidung. Die Länge ist angenehm über den Po, Beweglichkeit gut, ich kann noch die extra Schicht darunter anziehen ohne dass ich eingeengt bin. So richtig im Regen war ich noch nicht, erste Schauer hat die Jacke aber schon gut überstanden.

Ich trage diese Jacke seit mehreren Jahren Sommer wie Winter - vor allem auf dem Fahrrad. Das Material ist regenfest und kälteabweisend (insbesondere mit der Fliesjacke im Winter). Leider musste ich zwei Schwachstellen feststellen: Schon bei einer der ersten Fahrten mit dem Rad, musste ich eine Starke Sturzgefährdung durch die Jacke registrieren - die Länge ist so ungünstig, dass beim Absteigen der hintere Saum am Sattel hängen bleibt und damit das Absteigen unmöglich macht. Beim ersten Mal konnte ich gerade so einen Sturz abfangen. Seitdem ist es mir leider immer mal wieder passiert - vor allem hindert mich die Jacke seitdem, entspannt zu fahren. Ich muss immer sehr "wach" sein, dass ich daran denke, beim Absteigen erst den "Hintern" anzuheben, um nicht hängen zu bleiben. Helfen könnte hier, hinten einen Schlitz oder Reißverschluss anzubringen. Außerdem fällt es mir oft schwer, den Reißverschluss vorne unten so einzufädeln, dass dann auch die Jacke zu schließen geht. Seit gestern geht das nun gar nciht mehr, weil die Hartplastikkante vom einzufädelnden Reißverschlussteil vom Stoffteil abgerissen ist. Schade! Im Normalfall würde die Jacke jetzt wohl im Müll landen, obwohl sie sicher noch viele Jahre halten würde. Ich werde mir wohl die Mühe machen, einen neuen Reißverschluss einzunähen. Aber 1. kann das nicht jeder und 2. ist das eigentlich nicht Sinn einer Jacke in dem Preissegment.

Es tut uns sehr leid, dass du mit deinem VAUDE Escape Regen-Parka nicht zufrieden bist.
Bitte beachte: Wir empfehlen den Parka für die Einsatzbereiche Reisen/Trekking/Wandern.
Für das Radfahren eignen sich jedoch unsere speziell dafür entwickelten Modelle besser, wie zum Beispiel unser Cyclist II gefütterter Parka.
