In hot weather or on strenuous day hikes, the Women's Agile Air 18 pack plays up its strengths: its Aeroflex 3D rear-ventilated suspension system creates a space between the pack and your back that is open on three sides. This allows air to circulate to all sides and significantly reduces heat buildup. The Women's Agile Air 18 has everything women need for hiking or everyday life: a padded compartment for your phone or sunglasses, an elastic mesh pocket on the side and enough volume for rain jacket, change of clothes and food. To top it off, of course, is also an attachment point for trekking poles. The Ergoshape shoulder straps are adapted to the female form and fit comfortably without constricting. The hip belt can be removed. An elastic drawstring serves as a (bike) helmet holder or versatile attachment point for a jacket or sweat soaked shirt. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials.

    Leider musste ich feststellen, dass der Rucksack kein Wasser abhält. Meine Zeitung und Buch waren komplett nass. Das enttäuscht mich bei 90 Euro ein wenig, da es ja in den Bergen schnell mal regnen kann. Ich freu mich auf Ihre Rückmeldung.

    Wir verstehen, dass du verärgert bist - allerdings wird unser Agile Air 18 Wanderrucksack nicht als "wasserdicht" gekennzeichnet. D.h. du brauchst hier für den Einsatz im Regen eine Regenhülle (gibt es optional in unserem Shop zu erwerben).

It's easy to find out which VAUDE backpack fits your back length: simply measure yourself with a tape measure and compare your back length with our table.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
