Product description

A briefcase for your bike. The mid-sized rear pannier Bayreuth M in a briefcase format is made of a robust polyamid with a textile look; it features hf-welding so it's completely waterproof and it's also completely PVC-free. A padded compartment will swallow laptops up to 13" and there's plenty of space in the main compartment for A4 documents. The light colored interior material provides a good overview – a key holder, padded phone pocket, pen holder and loop for a water bottle round out the interior features. Use the adjustable plug and ride rail to mount the bag onto the gear rack (up to 16 mm diameter) with the QMR hooks. The bike bag can be locked directly to the QMR hook using a U-lock (such as the VAUDE TSA Combination Lock II, not included). Small feet on the bottom ensure good stability, use the integrated handle or well-padded shoulder strap to carry the bag comfortably on foot. Reflective elements at the front and on the sides provide increased visibility in road traffic. The bag is made at the VAUDE headquarters in southern Germany with manufacturing using high-frequency technology, clear design and high-quality Made in Germany workmanship.

    Great bag but needs one improvement

     
    The bag is great, great size and compartments. It fits ok on my cargo rack and clips on / off smoothly enough. The negative part is that it wobbles a lot on the rack, sometimes if i run over a bump i'm afraid it will fly off. This is due to the bag only relying on hanging on the side with no extra fastener for horizontal movement.

    J'utilise la sacoche Bayreuth IV M depuis 2 ans. J’en étais très content au départ mais les défauts s'accumulent avec l'usure : • les clips de la fermeture avant se sont usés et ne portent presque plus rien : la sacoche s'ouvre dès que je la porte par la poignée. •le tissu externe s’est relâché et la sacoche à beaucoup perdu en élégance. Cela m'amène à être beaucoup plus tiède sur ma recommandation alors que j'achèterai certainement une version 5 qui corrigerai ces défauts.

Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

  • Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
  • Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
  • Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.
