Backpack sizes

Some of the backpacks' product names include size information. The designation "M" stands for medium, i.e. a medium size. This medium size is universally suitable and is perfect for most users. "L" stands for Large, i.e. a large size, "XL" for Extra Large, an extra large size. If no specific size information appears in the product name, it is usually a standard size.

Sleeping bag zip position

A few tips on choosing the right zip position: Right-handed people choose a sleeping bag with the zip on the left, as they can comfortably reach across the body to the zip with their right hand. Left-handed people choose a sleeping bag with a zip on the right so that they can easily reach the zip with their left hand. If you want to combine two sleeping bags, make sure you choose one with a zip on the right and one with a zip on the left. The choice of sleeping bag should also take into account the position of the tent entrance so that you can always get in and out comfortably.

How to measure correctly?

To ensure your VAUDE clothing fits perfectly, it is important to take your measurements correctly. Here's how:

Chest: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your chest – ideally while standing upright with your arms hanging loosely at your sides.
Waist: Measure the circumference at the narrowest point of your waist – usually just above the belly button.
Hips: Measure around your hips at the widest point of your buttocks.
Inseam: Measure straight down from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) to your ankle.

Wurde mit gebrochenem federrahmen geliefert. Hinter dem ansonsten unnützen verkehrt eingenähten innenreissverschluss waren scharfebruchkanten zu tasten. Regenhüllebaumelt nur noch lösen einem Band im Hauptfach und lässt sich nicht platzsparend verbergen wie beim vorgängermodell. Es fehlt das übliche bodenfach mit Reißverschluss Rückennetz extremst schwer zu verstellen. Schnallen sind sehr fummelig zugänglich und drücken sich von selber ständig auf.

Es tut uns sehr leid, dass der Rucksack defekt geliefert wurde. Bitte wende dich in so einem Fall direkt an deinen Fachhändler, er/sie wird sich um die Reklamation kümmern.
Der von dir erwähnte innenliegende Reißverschluss ist nur für die Montage des Tragesystems vorgesehen. Dahinter verbirgt sich kein Innenfach.

Love it, nice fit, but can be better

I'm huge fan of Vaude backpacks and use them everyday. I have Wizard 18+4 from end of 2021, use it everyday and understand its pros and cons and can compare with other backpacks with same volume. I use backpack for bike commuting to work (22 km per day), as grocery backpack and for any other activities. Before I had Splash Air 20+5 and Varyd 22 and can compare them with each other. Pros: - The most important thing for me is detachable waist belt. You have a lot great backpacks for biking, but for me isn't comfortable to use waist belt in them. - Back ventilation. It's better than Splash (because you can adjust fit) and much better than Varyd. It's important for cycling. - Adjustability of back. It's very convenient and easy to customize for any body. Sometimes I loosen straps to carry back 15" laptop inside hydration pocket. Varyd is better for this, but Splash hasn't this possibility at all. - Organizer pocket. It's ok and does its job well like in Varyd. Splash has two bonus pockets and it's huge benefit for it - Side pockets are the most usable pockets for me. Phone, keys and airpods are always at hand. They have a rubber band that prevents things from flying out when I hit a bump. - 4 liters expansion are nice for grocery visit. I use it regularly. - Quality! Like any other your backpack - perfect. Cons: - Pocket for raincover. Where is it? Make it please in new Wizard version - One ziplock pocket inside. Please! For wallet and passport. Varyd has it and I need it here too. - Weight... -200 grams would be nice for it. I don't how, but you are pros and I believe in you. - The mesh at the bottom of the back is worn out, you need to avoid this in the next version

Im Vergleich von den vorherigen Modellen die eigentlich auch wizard 18+4 sind, fehlt einiges. Ich vermisse die untere Tasche für die Regenhülle. Clipper für den Schlauch fehlt auch. Die innere Tasche mit dem umgekehrten Reissverschluss ist ziemlich nervig und verstehe da die Funktion auch nicht. Aeroflex Rücken ist kaum benutzbar und das einstellen ist mit handrueckenschmerzen und eingerissenen fingernaegeln verbunden. Auch wird keine anleitung mitgeliefert und im internet ist nichts auffindbar. Die vordere tasche hat 50% des volumens verloren und weniger faecher. Der diebstahlschutz fuer den schluesselring wurde eingespart. Positiv fallen die glaenzenden materialien und das moderne design auf, leider auf kosten von funktionalitaet und komfort.

Wie schade, dass wir dich mit unserem Wizard 18+4 nicht überzeugen können.
Gerne möchten wir hier auf einige Punkte eingehen:
Die Regenhülle ist im Packbeutel im Vorfach eingehängt und der Trinkschlauch kann durch den Riemen auf dem Schultergurt und dann durch die Schlaufe, die auch als Sonnenbrillenhalterung fungiert, geführt werden.
Bei der inneren Tasche mit dem umgekehrten Reißverschluss handelt es sich nicht um eine Tasche - der Reißverschluss wird lediglich während der Montage des Rucksacks benötigt und soll im Anschluss nicht mehr genutzt werden.
Hilfe zum Einstellen der Rückenlänge findest du u.a. zum Beispiel bei YouTube. Gerne kannst du dich hier zusätzlich an unsere Kolleg*innen aus dem Kundenservice wenden, falls du Hilfe benötigst. Du erreichst sie über service.vaude.com
Bezüglich der Volumenreduzierung der vorderen Tasche: Hier haben wir uns entschlossen, sie weniger tief zu gestalten, so dass unsere Kund*innen einen besseren Überblick haben und der Inhalt und Kleinteile nicht bis nach unten durchrutschen - falls hier mehr Platz/Fächer gewünscht sind, empfehlen wir den Wizard 24+4.
Beim Schlüsselring wurden keine Änderungen vorgenommen.
