How do I replace the base of the VAUDE Takutea trolley?
Over the years, the base of your Takutea trolley can wear out. This is normal and with these repair instructions and a spare part, the stand is easy to replace.
Tools required:
PH2 screwdriver, 4 mm Allen key, size 8 open-end wrench (alternatively ratchet with socket wrench)
Difficulty: easy
Duration: 20 minutes
To access the nuts and bolts, fold down the orange bracket inside the case by opening the orange Velcro fasteners.
Loosen the inner screws with the screwdriver. Fix the nuts on the inside with the open-end wrench while you unscrew the screws on the outside with the Allen key.
Replace the old stand with the new one.
Tighten it again in the same way as in step 2 (0.75 Nm for the outer screws). Pay attention to the washers inside the trolley.
