How often should outdoor clothing be impregnated?
If the water no longer rolls off the outer fabric, but a wet spot appears, you should re-impregnate your product. We show you here a simple procedure to test this.
Required tools:
Spray bottle with water
Difficulty: Easy
Duration: 5 minutes
Spray jacket with water
Hang the product on a hanger and fill a spray bottle with water. Spray the surface of the product several times with the spray bottle.
Beading test
If the water is still "beading off" and the outer fabric is not soaked, it is not yet necessary to re-proof your jacket.
If the water no longer beads off the outer fabric, but a wet spot appears, you should re-impregnate your product.
