The PFC-free Sympatex® membrane makes them waterproof and highly breathable. The moisture-regulating lining ensures a good microclimate for your feet on strenuous climbs. Both the membrane and the functional inner lining are made from eco-friendly recycled material with a focus on sustainability. The stabilizing midsole made from biobased material ensures a perfect fit and optimum foot-roll for walking. The supple, resilient terracre® leather from the German Heinen leather manufactory adapts to your feet for exceptionally comfortable support. The toe cap made primarily from biobased resources protects your toes from stones, boulders and dirt. And there's a specialized, soft padding for the sensitive Achilles tendon and the ankle for extra protection. The heal cap and lacing ensure optimal heel stability at every step. The abrasion-resistant tread sole with natural rubber ensures secure traction in demanding terrain.
