Pull 'em on – feel great – head out on your climb! These casual shorts are a great choice for climbing sports, but also a good contender to become your favorite shorts for base camp or everyday. The double weave fabric is lightweight and robust with a durable stretch. Recycled polyamide was used to conserve resources. The adjustable waistband, two slide-in pockets and a zip pocket round off the Tekoa shorts. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials. In addition, this product is climate neutral – we’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit myclimate organization.

The fabric’s fine weave and processing makes your VAUDE product 80 percent windproof. The air that enters is primarily blocked and feels like a cool breeze for a comfortable microclimate and refreshing breathability. Windproof 80 is perfect for high-motion mountain sports and biking in windy weather.

Stretch – great freedom of movement and exceptional comfortable

VAUDE products with stretch are very comfortable to wear. The material's elasticity is achieved either by its elastane content and/or its knit or woven construction. It provides maximum freedom of movement during your activities in nature.

Main fabric: 95% Polyamide (recycled), 5% Elastane; Contrast fabric: 85% Polyamide, 15% Elastane.

Recycled Polyamide – functional polyamide from resource-efficient production.

Recycled polyamide obtained from used items such as fishing nets or carpets. Rather than disposing of surplus materials or residuals from textile production, we collect, process and reuse them in our production facilities. Valuable resources are put to maximal use so we need as little new raw materials as possible, protecting our climate and saving CO2.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
