The soft material is waterproof, offers optimum insulation and, unlike conventional neoprene, is also breathable. The warm cuffs encircle your wrists, preventing cold spots. A special print on the palm keeps you in charge of your handlebars; on the back with reflective elements. Ventriprene, the first breathable neoprene In addition to the well-known advantages of neoprene such as waterproofness and insulation, Ventiprene's patented technology creates channels in the material that allow body heat and sweat to pass through in the form of water vapour.

Windproof 100 – 100 percent windproof

An integrated, windproof membrane ensures that your VAUDE product is 100 percent windproof. Its sandwich construction consists of a protective outer fabric and warm inner material so you’ll be well prepared for adventures in the mountains or bike trips, even in cool windy weather.

SPF 50 – optimal protection against harmful UV rays

According to DIN EN 13758-1, SPF 50 means that less than 2 percent (1/50) of harmful UV rays penetrate the fabric of your VAUDE gear or clothing. Since VAUDE products do not contain any chemical titanium dioxide, UV protection is achieved solely through the choice of fibers, weave and thickness of the material.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
