For fast ascents! This athletic softshell vest for men was specifically designed for ambitious ski touring. With three different material zones, it ensures optimal temperature regulation for fast-paced winter activities: a windproof softshell at the front, stretchy and wind resistant Windproof 80 on the exposed areas, and an extremely breathable material at the back. This men’s softshell vest is made with eco-friendly, water repellent Eco Finish and is manufactured without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). As a member of the independent Fair Wear organization with Leader Status, VAUDE is committed to fair working conditions and fair wages. In addition, this product is climate neutral – we’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit myclimate organization.

Windproof Pro – ideal wind protection for an optimal microclimate

Windproof Pro combines two different materials for an optimal microclimate and top performance in mountain and bike sports. We use a material that’s 100 percent windproof and robust in the places where your body is most exposed to the wind. Where high breathability is important, we use less dense material (80 percent).

Stretch – great freedom of movement and exceptional comfortable

VAUDE products with stretch are very comfortable to wear. The material's elasticity is achieved either by its elastane content and/or its knit or woven construction. It provides maximum freedom of movement during your activities in nature.

In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
