Its waterproof Sympatex® membrane is 100 % recycled and the lining is also made of 100 % recycled polyester. Environmentally friendly production with recycled materials
The HKG Core Mid STX is made from certified, environmentally friendly tanned Terracare® leather from Germany. The upper is hydrophobic, oiled nubuck leather that is extremely hard-wearing, giving the shoe a long service life. It has a robust construction that offers feet the best possible support for all types of conditions. A chrome-free tanned leather lining at the ankle and instep combined with a breathable membrane ensures excellent wearing comfort and an optimal microclimate for your feet.
VAUDE also provides these boots with its HKG outsole which includes 40 % recycled content and 20 % natural rubber. The grippy, medium-strength sole and an upper that supports the ankles result in a V-Flow index of 5. These features combined with the ergonomic V-Pad heel design offer outstanding grip on a wide variety of surfaces and 360 ° abrasion and impact protection no matter where your feet take you.
