A certified mass balance process is used for the highly abrasion-resistant, yet lightweight high-stretch fabric in which pyrolysis oil is extracted from end-of-life tires and fed into a conventional polyamide production process. Chemical recycling reduces CO2 emissions by up to 60%. In addition, this women's shirt is climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization myclimate.
