Plenty of space – paired with full flexibility? Sustainable – and stylish at the same time? At first glance you might think its features are contradictory, but take a closer looks and you'll see that they're all integrated – and the CityTravel Backpack takes it one step further as well: recycled PET bottles are used for its primary material and the pack is also eco-friendly and water repellent.
Simplicity on the road
Whether you're taking a trip downtown or an epic journey from point A to point B, you need easy access to your necessities. The CityTravel Backpack has a vertical roll-top closure with zip that allows quick access to everything in the main compartment – almost like a duffel bag.
With its flexible volume expansion and a capacity of up to 30 liters, the pack can be easily adapted to your own needs – whether you're packing a small wardrobe for a short business trip or just your swimsuit for the local pool.
Ready for Business
Nowadays, we know that you've got to be connected – whether it's with your laptop or a tablet. So we gave the CityTravel Backpack a separate laptop compartment that's easily accessible from the outside. There are designated spots for your favorite writing utensils, a mouse, a tablet or other devices in the pack's practical organizer.
Thirsty? The stretch side pocket provides quick access to a water bottle, plus plenty of room for other accessories and such.
The best of both worlds
When designing the CityTravel Backpack, our VAUDE product developers were inspired by alpine backpacks – and gave the pack a padded back and soft ErgoShape shoulder straps, making it a comfortable partner even on longer journeys. So now even on urban outings you can enjoy high tech comfort. It's a genuine lifestyler with a no-nonsense, functional design that pairs well with urban apparel. Each piece comes in either a subtle black or contemporary sea blue.
Sustainable production methods
In addition to the backpack, there are three other wheeled bags in the CityTravel series, from cabin-sized to a 90 liter version. Each is produced with Eco Finish – eco-friendly water-repellency made without fluorocarbons (PFC) – and recycled materials. VAUDE focused on easy repairability for the handle and wheels so an easy replacement is possible, even when you're far from home. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.
