So lightweight, you'll hardly notice them – softshell touring pants made of high-stretch Windproof 80 for all types of adventures in the mountains, with eco-friendly manufacturing made primarily from recycled materials. With side ventilation zips and a hf-welded leg pocket. This product is made with water resistant Eco Finish that’s manufactured without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials. In addition, these pants are climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization myclimate.

The fabric’s fine weave and processing makes your VAUDE product 80 percent windproof. The air that enters is primarily blocked and feels like a cool breeze for a comfortable microclimate and refreshing breathability. Windproof 80 is perfect for high-motion mountain sports and biking in windy weather.

Stretch – great freedom of movement and exceptional comfortable

VAUDE products with stretch are very comfortable to wear. The material's elasticity is achieved either by its elastane content and/or its knit or woven construction. It provides maximum freedom of movement during your activities in nature.

SPF 50 – optimal protection against harmful UV rays

According to DIN EN 13758-1, SPF 50 means that less than 2 percent (1/50) of harmful UV rays penetrate the fabric of your VAUDE gear or clothing. Since VAUDE products do not contain any chemical titanium dioxide, UV protection is achieved solely through the choice of fibers, weave and thickness of the material.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
