When the going gets tough: our rock-solid 5th season tent in an extremely wind stable geodesic construction for year-round use in high elevations or on expeditions. Patented Powerframe technology allows the tent to be pitched fast, even in strong wind and rain – put the extra stable poles into the pole pockets and then clip the tent on – the inner tent stays dry. The Power Frame hooks can also be attached when you're wearing gloves. The special material blend with low stretch ripstop defies extreme weather fluctuations. The outer tent is pulled down low to project from snow and sand. The distance to the ground can be adjusted and functions as a ventilation option. The steep angle of the poles create comfortable spaciousness and headroom. To protect the environment, the flysheet was made in accordance with the strict bluesign® standard, resource-efficient and environmentally friendly manufacturing.

Both Sides Siliconized – triple silicone coated tent material

This innovative nylon fabric tent material is triple silicone coated on both sides. The material’s excellent UV reflection and the increased tear resistance lengthens the lifespan of your VAUDE tent. Raindrops simply bead up and roll off the tent’s silicone coating.

Geodesic – extremely stable tent construction

The extremely stable geodesic tent construction is ideal when traveling in extreme weather conditions such as driving snow or storms. The poles cross each other at least three times, creating small, exceptionally stable power triangles. You can rely on your VAUDE tent for expeditions or demanding tours in any weather.

Sag Free – minimal stretch in damp conditions

Thanks to HT polyester ripstop threads, the material of your VAUDE tent has minimal stretch in damp conditions so it doesn’t sag. This is because the polyester absorbs almost no water and doesn’t lose its strength. Therefore, you no longer need to re-tension the outer tent and you’ll feel comfortable and safe in the tent, even in the worst weather conditions.

Doublepitching – combined pitching of inner and outer tent

Tents with doublepitching technology are set up with the inner and outer tents connected. The big advantage: simple set up! In addition, your inner tent stays comfortably dry – even when the weather isn’t cooperating and you have to pitch your VAUDE tent in rain, snow showers or wind.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
