Water-repellent swelling yarn seals the seams of your VAUDE outer tent. The cotton in the thread swells in the seam when damp. A water-repellent, fluorocarbon-free finish on the yarn keeps the inner surface dry and prevents mold stains. In addition, the yarn’s polyester core provides high tensile strength.
