Drawcord hood

With the help of a drawstring you can easily adjust the hood of the sleeping bag to your needs. The upper and lower hood sections are individually adjustable.

Mummy cut

The classic sleeping bag shape. The mummy cut is recognized by its conical shape: the sleeping bag narrows toward the feet. Its body hugging shape minimizes the amount of air that needs to be warmed up for better thermal efficiency. The cut also means that less material is used than in other shapes. This makes the sleeping bag lighter at a comparable thermal performance and it can be packed down smaller.

Thermal collar

The thermal collar minimizes the escape of heat from the inside of the sleeping bag. Depending on the area of use of the sleeping bag, the collar is of different thickness. We use snap fasteners to prevent claustrophobia and to allow a quick exit.

Fillpower 800

Fillpower 800g - Fill power is the most frequently used measure of down quality and is expressed as cubic inches per ounce (cu.in.). VAUDE measures fill power in accordance with the European DIN EN 12130 norm. The higher the fill power, the better the down will insulate.

RDS certified down

Goose and duck down are a wonder of nature! They provide outstanding thermal insulation paired with breathability at a very low weight. We exclusively use down from humanely treated animals that is certified by the independent Responsible Down Standard (RDS). This is very important to us. And it just feels good. Water repellent finish Eco Finish

This product features our water repellent Eco Finish. Applied to the surface of your VAUDE product, it causes rainwater to simply bead up on the surface – without the use of environmentally-harmful fluorocarbons (PFC). Eco Finish protects you from the rain and helps keep nature clean. Find out more about Eco Finish.

Renewable Materials

VAUDE uses renewable vegetable- or animal-based resources in the manufacture of this product. This saves on fossil raw materials.
