How do I replace a QMR hook threaded plate on my VAUDE pannier?
The QMR hook is attached to the hardback plate with two threaded plates. Occasionally, the screw comes loose from the threaded plate and it gets lost. We will show you here shortly how to insert a new threaded plate.
Tools required:
Slotted screwdriver and threaded plate
Difficulty: easy
Duration: ten minutes
Slightly lift the hardback plate with a screwdriver and slide the threaded plate underneath.
Align the threaded plate in the center of the recess.
Use the screwdriver to lift the threaded plate so that the screw of the QMR hook can grip.
Position the QMR hook on the threaded plate. Use the orange locking wheel to tighten the screw in the threaded plate.
